Daniel Radcliffe attending National Movie Awards

‘Harry Potter’ stars Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson will make an appearance at the National Movie Awards t, wrapping early on shooting for the final instalment of the movie franchise to get there.

Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson will come straight from shooting the final scenes of ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’ to attend the National Movie Awards tonight (26.05.10).

The British stars have recently been filming for the last movie in the magical franchise at King’s Cross Station, London, and will rush from the set to join celebrities including Tom Cruise and Gwyneth Paltrow on the red carpet for the event.

Russell Brand will open proceedings at this year’s awards, with a link recorded from Los Angeles.

A world exclusive clip of upcoming movie ‘Toy Story 3D’ will also be shown live.

This year’s National Movie Awards – which take place at London’s Royal Festival Hall - will be presented by Northern Irish actor James Nesbitt, and feature a performance from British music stars Ironik and Chipmunk.

James recently confessed he was excited about hosting the live show.

He said: “The National Movie Awards has quickly become a highlight of the awards calendar, but what marks it out - and makes the evening so special - is that the awards are chosen by the British public. "We are a nation of movie lovers and there is an extra thrill on the night knowing that millions of filmgoers have chosen the winners."
